Adrien Bouchet

Sophomore Adrien Bouchet turned in solid performances in both singles and doubles in helping the No. 2-ranked Emory men's tennis team to the title at the ITA National Indoor Championships.

Bouchet went 3-0 at No. 3 singles with all of his wins coming in straight sets.  In doubles, he and junior Max Renke registered a 2-1 slate at the No. 2 spot.  

Against No. 14 Trinity, his win over Jordan Pitts (6-2, 6-2) gave Emory a 3-2 lead in an eventual 7-2 triumph.  Earlier in the match, he and Renke accounted tor the team's lone point in doubles. Bouchet picked up the first singles point in the semifinal match against No. 7 Carnegie Mellon, with a 6-2, 6-3 verdict over Kenny Zheng evening the match score at 2-2.  Against No. 4 Chicago in the championship showdown, Bouchet and Renke got the Eagles off to a 1-0 start with an 8-5 outcome over Tyler Raclin and Max Hawkins.  Adrien then proceeded to post a 6-2,6-4, victory over Charlie Pei in singles, helping the team to a 5-1 win.
