Sophomore Jonathan Jemison helped the No. 1-ranked Emory men's tennis team to a pair of wins.

Jemison went 2-0 in both singles and doubles in helping the Eagles raise their record to 7-3.  In a 9-0 win over Millsaps, Jemison notched a 6-1, 6-2 decision at No. 2 singles over Alex Centurion, which followed  a win that he and David Omsky fashioned at No. 3 doubles.  In a highly anticipated showdown vs. No.15 Amherst ,  Jemison and Omsky picked up one of the two Emory victories in doubles, battling to an 8-6 outcome over Nathan Kaplan and Josh Marchalik at No. 3.   With the match tied at 4-4 and hanging in the balance, Jemison provided Emory with the winning point with a 6-3, 6-7, 6-2 triumph at No. 2 singles over Anton Zykov.

On the year, Jemison stands 13-3 in singles play (8-2 in the spring), and has teamed with Omsky for a 15-4 slate in doubles (7-3 in the spring).
