Senior Josh Goodman helped the Emory men's tennis team to a 2-1 record against nationally ranked opposition.
Goodman compiled a 3-0 slate at No. 6 singles, raising his spring record to 9-3, 12-4 overall. Goodman recorded one of the team's three points with a 7-5, 6-4, decision over Allen Jackson of No. 4 Middlebury College. In a 6-3 triumph at No. 15 Trinity University, he chalked up a 6-2, 6-4 outcome over Clayton Niess. Goodman closed out the weekend with a 6-3, 6-3, win over Alex Brenner of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, as the Eagles came away with a 7-2 victory over the No. 2-ranked Stags.
