After seeing the team portion of its 2017-18 season come to an end on Tuesday in the semifinals of the NCAA D-III Championships, four member of the Emory men's tennis program will compete in the Single and Doubles Championships beginning on Thursday (May 24). The Championships are being held at the The Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California.

Junior Jonathan Jemison and freshman Hayden Cassone are part of the 32-player singles field. Both Emory entries are unseeded with Jemison clashing with No. 2 seed Lubomir Cuba at 8:45 am (PDT) while Cassone meets Andrew Finkelman of Wesleyan (CT) in a scheduled 10:30 am start.  The winners of those bouts will move into Thursday's Round of 16.

In doubles, senior Scott Rubinstein and junior James Spaulding will battle the No. 3 seeded tandem of Robert Carter and Zachary Hewlin from Whitman on Thursday afternoon (4:00 pm PDT).  It is the third straight year that Rubinstein and Spaulding have competed in the Doubles Championship.
