Jonthan Jemison

Senior Jonathan Jemison brought home a couple of titles at the ITA South Region Championships. The competition was held at the Rome Tennis Center and hosted by Berry College.

Jemison, the No. 1 seed in the 63-player field, went 5-0 en route to defending his singles crown, defeating Ritwik Chatterjee of Rhodes College, 6-2, 6-3, in the semifinals and then posting a 6-3, 6-0, triumph over freshman teammate Andrew Esses in the finals.

Jemison also teamed up with senior Adrien Bouchet to win the doubles championship. The pair played their way to five wins en route to bringing home the No. 1 spot, topping teammates James Spaulding and Hayden Cassone, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, in the final.

Jemison's effort in singles moved him into a 13th-place tie on the program's all-time chart with 78 wins, while he jumped into fifth place with 83 career doubles victories.
