Shortly after, senior James Spaulding and sophomore Will Wanner boosted Emory to a 2-0 lead following their 8-2 outcome vs. Alex Hwang and A. Mueller-Immergluck at second doubles.  Seniors Jonathan Jemison and Adrien Bouchet gave the Eagles a sweep in that portion of the competition after an 8-4 verdict at No. 1.

Mora put Emory one point from clinching when he posted a 6-1, 6-3, win against Hwang at four singles, with Bouchet providing the clinching point at the No. 3 post when he played his way to a 6-0, 6-3.

Emory advances to the semifinals on Saturday where it will meet No. 12 Pomona-Pitzer in an 11:30 am start.
