Jemison Moves Into Finals Of NCAA D-III Men's Singles Championships

Senior Jonathan Jemison has moved into the finals of the NCAA D-III Men's Singles Championship after posting a pair of Saturday wins. The Championships are being held in Kalamazoo, Michigan and hosted by Kalamazoo College.

The No. 3-seeded Jemison registered a 6-1, 6-3 verdict over Yangeng Jiang from Bowdoin in the quarterfinals before rallying for a 5-7, 6-3, 6-1 victory over Bernadro Neves of Washington University in the semis. 

Jemison, 25-5 in singles action this season will meet Leo Vithootien from Carleton on Sunday in the title match.  Action is slated to begin at noon. 

In doubles, Jemison and senior Adrien Bouchet have a Saturday evening quarterfinal match-up against Bowdoin's tandem of Urken and Yangeng Jian with the victory moving into semifinal-round play
on Sunday.
