Kyle Childree joined the Emory men's tennis porgram as assistant coach in August of 2018. 

Most recently, Childree has served as Managing Partner and Co-Director of Elite High Performance at the ATi Tennis Academy in nearby Smyrna.

Childree was a member of the Boston College tennis program, competing for the Eagles from 2012-13 through 2015-16.  He served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons and started every match in both singles and doubles all four years of his career.  During his final campaign, he played No. 1 doubles while competing in a number of different slots in the singles lineup.  He received the school’s Golden Eagle of the Year Award, presented to the Most Outstanding Senior on each athletic team, and distinguished himself in the classroom as well, earning four berths on the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.  In addition, he was recognized for the Athletic Director’s Award for Academic Achievement each of his four seasons.

Kyle attended Whitefield Academy in Marietta (2008-12) where he was four-time captain of the tennis team. He helped the program to a 2012 Georgia State championship and was named Player of the Year in Cobb County.

Childree earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from Boston College in 2016.
