(Mar. 13) Emory University's Frederick Linton was named the University Athletic Association's (UAA) Indoor Track and Field Runner of the Year, based on his performance at the Association's Championship meet.  Linton set three UAA records during the meet, finishing first in the 400-meter dash (48.47), the 200-meter dash (22.03) and as part of the 1,600-meter relay team (3:20.02).  It marks the second-straight season Linton has earned Runner of the Year honors, as the senior claimed the same title following last season's UAA Outdoor Championship Meet.
