Emory University senior Tyler Faits recorded a pair of top-four finishes while competing at the Appalachian Open. Faits finished fourth in the 400-meter dash, recording a time of 51.25 seconds. He later ran the anchor leg of the Eagles' 4x400-meter relay team, helping the squad to a third-place finish with a time of 3:28.77. Faits rounded out the meet with a 13th-place finish in the 55-meter dash, the top finish by an Eagle in the event at the meet, with a time of 6.72 seconds.
