Emory University senior Alex Greenhouse won two events and recorded an NCAA provisional qualifying time at the Emory Classic last weekend. Greenhouse finished first in the 400-meter hurdles, improving on his NCAA qualifying mark with a time of 53.09 seconds. He later won the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.52 seconds, the fastest this season by a UAA competitor. Greenhouse also ran the second leg of Emory’s fifth-place 4x100-meter relay team, which finished in a time of 43.23 seconds. Greenhouse scored 21 of the Eagles’ 156 points, helping the Emory men to a second-place finish at the meet.
