Emory University freshman Nelson Nwannunu recorded a trio of second-place finishes in the jump events at the Sewanee Tiger Indoor Invitational last weekend. Nwannunu set a season-best distance by an Eagle in the triple jump, recording a mark of 13.82 meters, the second-best jump by a UAA athlete this season. In the high jump, he cleared a height of 1.83 meters, his second-best mark of the campaign. Rounding out the meet, Nwannunu recorded a distance of 6.55 meters in the long jump.
