Emory University senior Paul Winterhalter set a school record in the 3,000-meter run, while competing at the Tiger Tune Up at Clemson University on Saturday. Winterhalter recorded a time of 8:38.12 in the event, besting the previous school record by two seconds. His time was good enough for a first-place finish in the event, and is the sixth-fastest time in the UAA this season.
