Senior Phil Edwards highlighted the Eagles performances on the men's side during the team's first meet of the season on Friday at the Birmingham Crossplex. Edwards recorded a new personal-best time in the 3000m Run as he placed sixth overall and third among NCAA performers. His time of 8:50.03 currently places him 1st on the UAA leaderboard and ninth nationally.
