Liam Fost secured first-place in the men's 400m dash at the Emory Crossplex Showdown on Sunday in Birmingham, AL. He raced in a time of 49.46, a mark the puts him atop the list of efforts from UAA competitors in the event. His attempt added 10 points to his team's total and places him in 14th in all of DIII.
Additionally, the junior ended in seventh-place in the 200m dash, crossing after 22.70, which is the second-best time in the UAA this season. Fost helped collect four more points after earning seventh, but also handled the opening leg on the 4x400m relay team that finished in fifth-place (3:28.08, 4 pts.).
