Title: Assistant Coach (Pole Vault)

Nikita Kirillov joined the Emory University Track and Field coaching staff as an assistant in October of 2017. He will be working primarily with the pole vaulters.

Kirillov comes to the Eagles after completing a successful four-year career with Georgia Tech, graduating in 2017 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. With the Rambling Wreck, Kirillov was a six-time All-ACC selection in the pole vault and earned Second team All-America honors during the 2014 season, finishing 13th overall at Nationals. During his first season with the Eagles, he helped his athletes to three All-Region honors and one All-UAA effort.

During the 2012 calendar year, Kirillov finished first and set a new meet record at the US Junior Meet with a vault of 18-2. He qualified and placed eighth for Team USA at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain and later, competed at the US Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore.

A graduate of St. Pius Catholic High School in Atlanta, Kirillov currently holds the all-time Georgia state high school record.
