Emory Men's Cross Country Earns At-Large Bid To NCAA D-III Champioships

The Emory men's cross country team has earned at at-large bid to this year's NCAA D-III Championships. 

The No. 26-ranked Eagles were one of 16 at-large programs to be named to this year's field, and will join the 16 schools who earned automatic bids yesterday at NCAA Regional Championships throughout the country.  Emory posted a third-place finish at the South/Southeast Region Championships which were hosted by Berry College.

In addition to the at-large bids that were announced Sunday morning, fifty-six individuals comprised of the first seven student-athletes from each region who were not a part of a qualifying team, were selected to participate in each championship.

Spalding University and the Louisville Sports Commission are hosting the championships November 19 at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky. The women's race will begin at 11 a.m. Eastern time followed by the men's race at Noon Eastern time.
