Senior Shane Sullivan was the top performer for the 30th-ranked Emory men's cross country team at the at the Pre-National Meet in Elsah, Illinois.
Sullivan was the No. 1 Eagle to cross the finish line, clocking a season-best 8k mark of 26:09 that ranked 60th out of 354 runners, and that represented his third-best career time.
Shane has ranked among Emory's scorers in all four of his competitions this fall.
The Emory posted a 17th-place finish out of 38 teams at the Pre-National Meet.
