Senior Shane Sullivan helped the Emory men's cross country team to a third-place finish at the NCAA South/Southeast Region Championships.
Sullivan paced the Emory contingent for the third straight race, clocking a personal-best 8k time of 24:37, good for eighth place out of 222 runners. Sullivan's time represented the fourth-fastest mark in school history. His finished enabled him to capture all-region recognition.
Emory men's team received an at-large berth to the NCAA D-III Championships this Saturday (Nov. 18) in Elsah, Illinois.
