Junior Luis Torres helped the Emory men's cross country team to a second-place finish at the NCAA South/Southeast Region Championships.
Torres led the Emory pack for the second time this season, clocking a season-best 8K time of 26:05 that was good for 10th place out of 239 runners. His finish enabled him to earn all-region recognition for the second straight season.
Emory's second-place finish enabled it to land an automatic berth to the NCAA D-III Championships in Winneconne, Wisconsin.
