Senior Brett Lucas placed fourth at the NCAA South/Southeast Region Championship with a time of 25:26.0 in the 8k. This was Lucas's third consecutive race pacing the Eagles and his second consecutive race finishing in the top 10. Lucas helped lead Emory to a first place finish at Regionals which marked the second consecutive regional trophy for the Eagles.
