Sophomore (2022):

• 2022 UAA Fall All-Academic Honors
• Competed in four meets this season
• Recorded his season-best time at the Paul Short Run (25:27) finishing 114th out of 403 runners at the event
• Finished 12th out of 99 runners at the Julius Johnson Invitational with a time of 26:22
• Posted a time of 25:55 at the UAA Championships to finish 40th out of 75 runners

Freshman (2021):

Competed in three meets… Recorded his season-best time at the Alexander Asics Invitational (27:59) where he finished in 111^th out of 237 runners… Finished 75^th at the Converse Kickoff (28:07)… In his final race of the season at the UAB Classic he registered a 28:09 good for a 126^th place finish.

High School:

Competed in cross country and track for 4 years at Westwood Regional High School… Served as a team captain his senior year in cross country… His top time in the 800m was 1:54 where he placed 4th at the 2021 Meet of Champions… Posted a 4:22 in the mile… Recorded a personal best of 16:28 in a 5k in 2020.

Personal:

Born on March 12… Son of Dave Cheema and Manisha Mahajan… He plans to major in Computer Science.
