Sophomore (2022):

• 2022 USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors
• 2022 UAA Fall All-Academic Honors
• Competed in seven events for the Eagles this season
• Finished 17th out of 75 runners at the UAA Championships with a time of 25:21
• Raced to a time of 26:03 at the Julius Johnson Invitational to finish 8th out of 99 runners
• Registered a season-best time of 24:36 at the Paul Short Run
• Finished 16th out of 160 runners at the NCAA Regional Championships (26:16)

Freshman (2021):
In his inaugural season as an Eagle, Evans emerged as a key contributor… Evans earned All-Region status finishing fourth among the Eagles and 13^th overall at the NCAA South Regional Championships with a time of 25:53… Competing at the NCAA DIII Championships, Evans registered a new personal best time of 25:09 to finish fourth amongst the Eagles contingent… Evans raced to a time of 27:18 at the UAA Championships… He finished second among all Eagles and 11^th overall at the Converse Kickoff (26:03)… Finished third on the team at the UAB Classic (25:57) and fourth for the Eagles at the Louisville Sports Commission Classic (25:22)… Was named a 2021 USTFCCCA Academic All-American.

High School:
Competed in cross country and track for 4 years at Palo Alto High School… Served as a team captain his junior and senior year in both cross country and track… Was coached by Michael Davidson… His top time in the half mile event was 2:00 and came in 2021… He posted a 4:31 in the mile.

Personal:
Born on July 26… Son of Laura Herrero and Michael Evans… He plans to major in philosophy and politics.
