Junior Bridget Holloway tossed a complete-game
shutout against Elizabethtown on Sunday (Mar. 6) in a game
played at the National Training Center in Orlando, Fla.
Holloway allowed just four hits and fanned seven as the Eagles
recorded a 5-0 win. The victory enabled the team to move its
overall record to 12-0, the first time in school history that an
Emory squad has won its opening 12 games of a season.
Holloway stands 6-0 on the year and posts an ERA of 0.78. She
has struck out 14 and walked just one batter in 36 innings worth of
work.
