Freshman outfielder Alyssa Pollard hit a team-high .769 (10-for-13) in helping the No. 13 Eagles' softball team to four wins at the 3N2 Elite Event on the Emory campus.

Pollard's 10 safeties were tops on the team and her seven RBIs second most as Emory boosted its record to 17-0 on the year.  She hit safely at least twice in all four contests and delivered a 3-for-3 performance at the plate in Sunday's 8-0 triumph over No. 5 Roanoke.  In the opening game of the weekend, Pollard collected three hits and knocked in three runs with a triple as Emory posted an 8-1 verdict over Birmingham Southern.

Through 17 games, she paces the team in hitting with a hefty .561 average (21-of-41) and is third with 10 RBIs.
