Sophomore Micah Scharff hit .500 in helping the
No. 3-ranked Emory softball team to a split of a doubleheader at
LaGrange College.
In the opener of the twinbill, Scharff went 1-for-2 at the plate
with one RBI. She singled in the team's first run in the top
of the first and, after stealing second base, eventually scored
what proved to be the Eagles' final run of the contest.
In the nightcap, Scharff stroked a pair of doubles, drove in two
runs and scored once in helping the team to a 10-2 triumph that
boosted its record to 39-3 on the season.
