Junior Brittany File figured in five of Emory's softball victories as the team registered a 6-0 week.

File posted a 4-0 record and recorded one save as the No. 2-ranked Eagles raised their overall record to 31-1.  She crafted an ERA of 0.75 over 24 innings of work, allowing just two earned runs, nine hits while striking out 30 batters. One of her efforts was a complete-game five hitter in Emory's 7-1 decision over Roanoke College. She fanned 10 Maroons in that contest, which represented the sixth time this season that she had posted a double-figure strikeout outing.

She notched her second save of the year in a 3-2 triumph over Bridgewater, hurling the seventh inning and striking out the side.

Through games played Mar. 26, File has racked up a won-lost effort of 23-1 with an ERA of 1.51 over 125 innings.   Her 23 victories and 189 strikeouts both rank third on the program's seasonal ladder.
