Emory Softball Names Renee Boulware Assistant Coach

Emory University head softball coach Penny Siqueiros has announced the appointment of Renee Boulware as assistant coach. Boulware's primary duties will be working with the team's pitchers.

Boulware was a standout performer in the circle at Florida State University, earning second-team All-America honors as a senior while garnering All-Atlantic Coast Conference accolades on two occasions.  Prior to her stint at FSU, she played at Central Arizona Junior College where she topped the JUCO ranks in earned run average her final year.

An outstanding prep player, she was recently selected by the Arizona Star Daily as one of the Top 10 All-Time Players for the Tucson area.

She has coached in the collegiate ranks as an assistant at Florida State and at the University of North Carolina.

Boulware earned her bachelor's degree from Florida State in 1997.
