Spizizen appeared in all four games and finished with an ERA of 0.00 over 17 innings of action, allowing one unearned run and eight hits. She fanned a total of 13 batters and issued just one walk.  Spizizen got the Eagles off to a solid start in the series, throwing a complete-game shutout in a series-opening 1-0 triumph, allowing just two hits and striking out seven with no walks. After starting and picking up the win in Saturday's 9-0 triumph in the first game of a doubleheader, Spizizen posted her 11th win of the campaign when she turned in a three-inning relief outing, holding the Bears scoreless while whiffing one batter.
