Junior Azzairia Jackson-Sherrod was the No. 2 scorer and rebounder for the Emory women's basketball team over a three-game stretch.

Jackson-Sherrod averaged 32.7 minutes, 14.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in contests in road games at Sewanee and Birmingham Southern and a home date vs. Piedmont College.

In an 84-80 overtime triumph at Sewanee, Jackson-Sherrod was second on the squad in scoring with 16 points and doled out a team-high five assists. Her two free throws with 2:30 left in the extra session gave Emory the lead for good at 78-77. In a six-point setback to Piedmont, she was second on the Eagles' scoresheet with nine rebounds while totaling eight points. She closed out the week as Emory's leading scorer with 18 points, sinking eight-of-14 field goal attempts and both of her free throw opportunities, and pulled down a team-leading seven boards at Birmingham Southern.

Through games played Dec. 3, Jackson-Sherrod has started all seven Emory games and is No. 3 on the team and 15th on the UAA ladder in scoring average (12.0 ppg).
