Ashley Oldshue

Senior Ashley Oldshue helped the Emory women's basketball squad to a 2-1 slate in its opening three games of the 2017-18 season.

The 6-foot-2 Oldshue averaged team highs in both points (17.3 ppg) and rebounds (9.3), and shot a club-best 58.5 percent (24-41) from the floor.

In the season opener vs. Rhodes, Oldshue was second on the club in scoring with 16 points and finished as the team's leader with nine rebounds. In a 71-56 victory over UT Dallas in the first game of the Emory Tip Off Tournament, she totaled 12 points, sinking six-of-10 field goal attempts, grabbed eight boards and blocked three shots. In a 73-52 decision over Belhaven, Oldshue chalked up her fifth career double-double, leading all players with 24 points (second-highest career total) and 11 rebounds. She was successful on a career-best 11 field goals in 15 attempts against the Blazers en route to registering her 29th career contest of double-figure scoring.
