Ashley Oldshue

Junior Ashley Oldshue ranked as the leading scorer and rebounder for the Emory women's basketball team in road wins over Carnegie Mellon and Case Western Reserve.

Oldshue averaged 18.5 points and 7.5 rebounds as the Eagles topped CMU, 66-64, and CWRU, 73-62. In addition, she shot 70 percent (14-20) from the field and 81.8 percent (9-11) from the charity stripe.

In the win over Carnegie Mellon, Oldhsue topped all players with 22 points, her fifth outing of 20 or more points this year, while tying for game honors with nine rebounds. She scored 18 second-half points in helping Emory rally from a 12-point deficit in the third quarter. She closed out that game eight-of-12 from the floor and six-of-eight from the charity stripe. She finished the weekend by tossing in 15 points, converting six-of-eight field goals in registering her 16th double-figure performance of the season. She also tied for the team lead with six rebounds, 13th time this year she ranked as the club leader in that department.

Oldshue leads the club and is fifth among UAA players in scoring average (15.7 ppg), and finds herself in the No. 1 spot in field goal percentage (.550) and the No. 4 position in rebounding (8.8 rpg).
