Women’s Basketball Receives At-Large Bid to NCAA Tournament

For the second season in a row, the Emory University women's basketball team has been selected to participate in the postseason as the Eagles received one of the 19 Pool C at-large bids.

Emory (19-6) will be headed to Lexington, Kentucky for the opening rounds of the NCAA tournament and will face Ohio Wesleyan (22-6) at host Transylvania. The matchup will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools. On the other side of the draw, the reigning national champions and host Transylvania (27-0) will battle the Chatham Cougars (24-3). Emory's first round contest is set for 5:30 PM on Friday.

The selection marks the third appearance for the Eagles in the postseason under head coach Misha Jackson and the sixth all-time in program history.
