The 2014-15 season will mark Kim Coleman's (Coach Kim) sixth campaign on the sidelines for the Eagles.

Coleman came to the Eagles after a successful five-year stint as head coach at Milton High School in nearby Alpharetta.  He guided the program to an overall record of 99-43 along with five state playoff appearances.  Under his direction, the Lady Eagles captured the Region 6-AAAAA title in 2006 while finishing that campaign with a 25-4 won-lost mark.  He was named the 2006-07 GHSA Region 6 Coach of the Year and assisted many student-athletes attain their goals of playing at the college level (i.e. Furman, Clemson, Penn State, Valdosta State, St. Louis University, and more). 

During his tenure at Milton HS, Coach Coleman prided himself on building a program strictly on local area talent.  This philosophy, along with a focus on academics, allowed the Milton Basketball program to continually move players on to the next level. “Our team motto was family and each player who played at Milton is treated with dignity and respect, allowing the program to maintain a positive atmosphere.”

As an assistant to Coach Thomaskutty, Coach Coleman is responsible for many aspects of the program, including guard’s pre-practice programs, recruiting, post player development and on-floor coaching.  Coleman was a part of the Emory Staff that claimed the 2012 UAA Conference Title and Coaching Staff of the Year. 

Coach Coleman is married to Elisa (21 years) and has two children (Chase, red-shirt sophomore Stetson University and Blake, sophomore at Milton High School).
