Freshman Ksheera Jalakam produced a pair of consistent rounds at the Montgomery Country Club Women's Invitational this past weekend (Sep. 28-29), registering a first-round 75 followed by a final-round 76 to finish 11th out of 70 golfers.
Jalakam's final score of seven-over-par paced her team, and her 28 total pars recorded were the most out of any competitor in the field. The Texas native's effort helped her squad finish in a tie for seventh out of 12 teams in just its second tournament in history.
