Emory University junior Shivani Beall and sophomore Samantha Hilsee were honored by the United Soccer Coaches Association Monday evening, earning spots on the South Atlantic All-Region Team.

Beall makes her first appearance on the All-Region and becomes the first Eagle to be named to the All-Region First Team since Lauren Gorodetsky in 2013. Beall put forth a career-year as a junior, leading the Eagles with nine goals and 22 points while setting a single-season school record with 44 shots on goal and leading the UAA with 79 shots, the third most in team history. In games where she recorded at least one point, the Eagles went 8-0 and recorded her first career hat trick against Covenant College on October 17^th, finishing with a career-high six points. She was previously honored this postseason with her second All-University Athletic Association First Team selection and garnered CoSIDA Academic All-District recognition.

Hilsee also makes her first career appearance among the All-Region honorees, as she was selected to the Third Team. As a sophomore, Hilsee was one of four field players to start all 20 contests, setting a career-high with 15 points and tying her personal-best output of six goals. She joined Beall on the All-UAA First Team earlier this postseason and on September 24^th, she was named the UAA Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time after posting three goals and one assist against USA South foes Piedmont and Huntingdon including a career-high five points against the Hawks on September 23^rd.

The duo helped the Eagles post an overall record of 14-5-1 while advancing to the Second Round of the NCAA Division III tournament for the first time since 2013.
