Caroline Kolski & Haley Pratt Garner UAA Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week Honors

Emory University women's soccer seniors Caroline Kolski and Haley Pratt were honored by the University Athletic Association on Monday by being named the conference's Athletes of the Week. The weekly honor marks the first in each player's career.

Kolski played a key role for the Eagles as Emory picked up crucial UAA wins over Case Western Reserve and 24th-ranked Carnegie Mellon this past weekend. Kolski netted the game-winning goal in Friday night's win vs. the Spartans and added an assist on the game-winning marker in Sunday's win over the Tartans. For the season, Kolski ranks second on the team with her four goals and 10 points.

Pratt was equally impressive over the weekend, making a total of 14 saves as the Eagles posted back-to-back shutouts in the wins over the Spartans and Tartans. Pratt tallied five saves in Friday's two-goal win over CWRU before making career-high nine saves in Sunday's one-goal victory over CMU. For the season, Pratt has recorded 44 saves (.863 save percentage) through 13 games to go along with a 0.59 goals-against average.

The Eagles, now 9-4 on the season, return to the pitch this Sunday, October 27th, with the final non-conference game of the season against Huntingdon College. Kick off at the WoodPEC is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
