Women's Soccer Lands Three on United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams

The Emory University women's soccer trio of senior Shivani Beall, junior Samantha Hilsee and freshman Peyton Robertson represented the Eagles on the United Soccer Coaches South Atlantic All-Region Teams which were released Monday afternoon.

Beall makes her second straight appearance on the All-Region First Team and becomes just the fifth player in team history to earn at least two All-Region First Team selections in a career. Beall concluded her stellar four-year run with a senior campaign that featured five goals and a team-high six assists for 16 points, her third double figure scoring season. Earlier this year, Beall collected her third University Athletic Association All-Association First Team honor and second consecutive CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.

Robertson adds another accolade to her impressive rookie season as she was tabbed to the All-Region Second Team after garnering UAA Rookie of the Year and First Team acclaim previously. Robertson was a force for the Eagles' backline, leading the team in minutes played and leading the defense to a 0.72 goals against average and nine shutouts. Robertson added three goals and two assists for eight points on the offensive end and notched game-winning goals against Carnegie Mellon and Rochester.

Hilsee makes her second consecutive All-Region appearance after being picked to the Third Team last year as a sophomore. This season, Hilsee totaled three goals, all game winners, to go along with two assists for eight points. In October, Hilsee joined Beall and Robertson on the All-UAA Team as she was named to the All-UAA Second Team.

The Eagles finished the year with a 13-5 overall record and made their second straight trip to the NCAA postseason.
