Senior Lauren Mahoney anchored an Emory defensive unit that allowed two goals across three games as the Eagles opened the season with a 2-0-1 record including a 1-0-1 mark against Top-20 opponents. The Emory defense limited all three opponents to less than seven total shots and held #19 Centre to six shots (1 SOG) in a scoreless draw.
