Prior to Emory:

Swam on the Sterling High School swim team for four seasons, serving as the squad's captain during the 2007 and 2008 seasons... Recorded times of 24.99 seconds in the 50 Free, 53.56 seconds in the 100 Free, and 1:57.3 in the 200 Free in high school... Helped her high school team win the Secitionals from 2005-08... Coached by Maggie Wike in high school... Also competed in the pole vault for her high school's track and field team.

Personal:

Born June 7, 1991... Was her high school class president as a sophomore, junior and senior... Named her high school's student of the year in 2009... Also competes in the pole vault for the Emory track and field team.
