Prior to Emory:

Was a four-year member of the Dr. Phillips High School team, serving as the team captain during her senior year... Was a three-time top-three finisher at the state championships and a school-record holder in four events... Helped her team to a runner-up finish at the state championships in 2012 and a fourth-place finish in 2013... Recorded career-best times of 56.32 in the 100 back, 1:53.56 in the 200 free, 52.93 in the 100 free and 2:08.52 in the 200 back... Swam for the Southwest Starts club team and was a YMCA National Swimmer... Also played water polo in high school.

Personal:

Born February 18th... Was a Scholar All-American and a National Honor Society member in high school.
