Emory University senior Gabrielle Clark led the third-ranked Eagles to a 7-2 win over 11th-ranked DePauw University with wins in both the first doubles and singles matches on Friday. Clark teamed with freshman Katarina Su to win the first doubles match 8-5 over Maggie MacPhail and Caroline Emhardt, the sixth-ranked pairing in the Central Region. She later won the first singles match by a 6-1, 6-1 score over Claire Marshall, ranked 20th in the Central Region. Clark, ranked first in singles and sixth in doubles in the Atlantic South Region, improved to 6-4 in singles play this season and to 11-6 in doubles action. With the win, Emory remained perfect against Division III opposition with an 8-0 record, improving to 14-2 overall.
