Sophomore (2012-13):

Pinsky finished her sophomore season with a 7-3 record in singles matches and a 5-3 mark in doubles play, with the majority coming during the fall season.  She advanced to the round of 16 in the singles draw of the ITA Fall Regional Championships, winning a pair of matches before falling to top-seeded teammate and eventual winner Gabrielle Clark.  She teamed with Beatrice Rosen as the fifth seed in the doubles draw of the tournament to advance to the quarterfinals.  Pinsky also won a pair of singles and doubles matches at both the Atlanta Classic and the Duckworth Classic in the fall.  In her only action of the spring, Pinsky claimed a 6-2, 6-1 win in the fourth singles match during the Eagles’ contest against the University of Hawai’i Hilo.

 

Freshman (2011-12):

Pinksy finished her freshman season with a singles record of 16-10, and a 6-6 mark in doubles play during the year.  She earned all-UAA first team honors as the Eagles' sixth singles player after going 3-0 during the tournament, including a straight-set win in the first singles spot against NYU.  During the fall, she advanced to the quarterfinals of the singles draw at the ITA Regionals, and to the quarterfinals of the doubles draw, while teamed with Taylor Brandt.  Pinsky was named an ITA Scholar Athlete for her academic achievements for the season.

Prior to Emory:

Played on the Winston Churchill High School tennis team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during her senior year... Was 18-0 as the team's second-singles player during her senior campaign, and 24-1 as the top singles player during her junior year... Helped her team to the county tournament championship all four years and to the regional tournament championship three times... Coached by Ben Woods in high school... Ranked as a three-star recruit... Achieved highest national rankings of 179th on the Bobolat Recruiting List and 107th on the IMG TennisRPI.

Personal:

Born July 17, 1992... A member of the Spanish and National Honor Societies and on the Principal's List and Honor Roll all four years of high school.
