Emory University freshman Anna Fuhr helped lead the second-ranked Eagles to an 8-1 win over sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins University at the Woodruff Physical Education Center on Saturday. Fuhr and doubles partner Michelle Satterfield, ranked sixth in the Atlantic South Region, upset the region’s fourth-ranked pairing of Ashnaa Rao and Shannon Herndon with an 8-2 victory in the first doubles match. She improved to 15-13 overall in doubles matches this season, including a 2-3 mark with Satterfield in first-doubles action. Fuhr and the Eagles won their 22nd-consecutive home match, and improved to 13-3 overall this season.
