Sophomore (2016-17):

Lopez was a strong contributor for the Eagles during her sophomore season, compiling a 24-8 record in singles and a 23-11 mark in doubles, finishing the year ranked as the No.-42 singles player in the country. She earned All-UAA First Team honors for No.-3 singles and made the Second Team for No.-2 doubles. In the fall, Lopez advanced to the finals of the doubles draw and was a semifinalist in the singles competition at the ITA South Region tournament. In early March, she posted a 3-0 record at No.-3 singles and a 2-1 record at No.-2 doubles with Paula Castro to help Emory win the ITA Indoor National Championship. Lopez added a 3-0 record at No.-3 singles and a 2-1 record at No.-2 doubles with Michelle Satterfield to help the Eagles win their fifth straight UAA title, earning a spot on the All-UAA tournament team. Lopez added a pair of singles wins during Emory’s NCAA tournament run including a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Williams’ Hannah Atkinson in the NCAA Championship match and was 3-2 playing with Satterfield at No.-2 doubles in five NCAA tournament matches.

Freshman (2015-16):

Lopez concluded her rookie season with a 13-5 overall record in singles matches and a 16-9 mark in doubles action. In the fall, Lopez opened her career by reaching the quarterfinals in both the singles and doubles draw of the ITA South Regional tournament. During the spring, Lopez won 10 straight doubles matches, all at the no. 1 position, with seven successful decision being partnered with Anna Fuhr to begin the spring portion of the schedule. In singles action, Lopez went 8-3 in dual matches with seven victories coming when the calendar flipped to 2016. Lopez appeared in a pair of matches during Emory’s NCAA tournament run playing at fifth singles versus Methodist and sixth singles against 10th-ranked Washington University but did not receive a decision in either match as both went unfinished.
