Senior (2016-17):
Satterfield was named an ITA All-American in singles for the fourth time in her career after advancing to the quarterfinals at the NCAA Individual Championships and finished the year ranked as the No.-21 singles player in the country, the third time she was ranked inside the top-25 at the end of a season. Satterfield won 20-plus singles matches for the third time, registering a 21-13 overall record and compiled a 24-10 record in doubles, her highest win total since her freshman campaign. At the end of her career, Satterfield ranked inside the top-5 all-time in Emory history with 87 singles victories (4th) and 93 doubles victories (T-5th). In the fall, Satterfield advanced to the championship match in both singles and doubles at the ITA South Regional, falling to teammate Bridget Harding in the singles title match and Harding and Katarina Su in the doubles final. She helped the Eagles capture the ITA Indoor National Championship in March, going 2-1 at No.-2 singles and 3-0 at No.-3 doubles with Michelle DeMeo and was 3-2 at No.-2 with Daniela Lopez during Emory’s NCAA tournament run.
Junior (2015-16):
Satterfield was named a ITA All-American for the third straight season after finishing the year as the 20th-ranked singles player in all of Division III after going 22-7 in singles play, one of five Eagles to register 20 or more wins in singles action. In the NCAA tournament, Satterfield shined for the Eagles, going 5-0 playing with Paula Castro in doubles and 3-0 in singles, helping Emory to its second national championship in the last three seasons. In both the semifinals against Middlebury and the championship match against Williams, Satterfield earned the match point to seal both victories for the Eagles. Following the national championship victory, Satterfield was selected to participate in her second straight NCAA Individual Championships singles competition, reaching the Round of 32. In the fall, Satterfield advanced to the semifinals in both the singles and doubles draw. In addition, she was selected to the All-UAA First Team for the third time, playing at second singles and third doubles, helping Emory to its fourth consecutive UAA title. Satterfield will enter her senior season ranked 15th all-time in doubles victories (69) and 20th among the all-time singles wins leaders (66).
Sophomore (2014-15):
Satterfield followed an impressive freshman campaign with a stellar sophomore season. She went 16-8 overall in singles and 16-13 in doubles matches. In the spring as an unseeded player, Satterfield reached the NCAA semifinals in the singles tournament before falling to the top seeded player in the draw. She also reached the round of 16 in the doubles competition of the NCAA tournament with partner Anna Fuhr. During the fall, she reached the semifinals in doubles of the ITA South Regional. Satterfield was named an ITA All-American in both singles and doubles for the second straight season and earned All-UAA First Team honors for the second consecutive year. Satterfield finished the season ranked eighth nationally, second regionally in singles and was tied for 10th in the country and fourth in the south region for doubles with teammate Fuhr.
Freshman (2013-14):
Satterfield made an immediate impact on the Eagles’ roster during her freshman season, earning all-America honors for both her singles and doubles play. In the fall, Satterfield became just the second Emory freshman to ever win the singles draw at the ITA Small College National Championships, and teamed with Rebecca Siegler to finish third in the doubles draw. She earned entry to the event by winning both the singles and doubles draw at the ITA Regionals earlier in the fall season. In the spring, Satterfield teamed with Gabrielle Clark (as the fourth-seeded pair) to reach the semifinals of the NCAA Doubles Championships, and finished the year with an overall doubles record of 31-9, the second-most doubles wins in a single season in school history and the most ever by an Emory freshman. Satterfield was also named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Rookie of the Year (becoming the fifth player in Emory history to earn the honor), and earned all-conference first team recognition for her play at third singles and first doubles. She recorded a singles mark of 28-7 during the year, tied for the fourth-most singles victories in a season in the program’s history and tied for the most ever by a freshman. She finished the year ranked fourth nationally in doubles and 34th in singles, while also placing ninth in the final regional singles poll and first in the doubles poll.
