Emory University senior Bridget Harding and freshman Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico were named the University Athletic Association Women's Tennis Athletes of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. It is the 11^th career weekly honor for Harding and the second for Gonzalez-Rico.

As the only Division III players in the main singles draw at the Mercer Gridiron Classic, Harding and Gonzalez-Rico impressed as the pair advanced to the finals, winning every match via straight sets. The duo added a 2-1 record in doubles play, defeating a team from Middle Georgia and Jacksonville State in the consolation rounds.

Harding and Gonzalez-Rico return to action this week with the 2017 ITA Oracle Cup from October 12^th – 15^th in Rome, GA.
