Sophomore Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico went 2-0 at both first singles and first doubles as the #1-ranked Eagles collected wins over #3 Amherst and #7 Wesleyan this past week. Gonzalez-Rico earned straight set wins in both singles matches, winning 6-0, 6-2 over Jackie Bukzin of Amherst (#3 ranked on ITA) and 6-3, 6-3 over Victoria Yu of Wesleyan (#15 ranked on ITA). Gonzalez-Rico teamed with classmate Defne Olcay in the doubles wins as the pairing defeated Amherst's Bukzin/Chen, 8-4, and Yu tandem of Wesleyan, 8-6.
