Barbora Krtickova Selected as National Assistant Coach of the Year

Emory University women's tennis assistant coach Barbora Krtickova was honored by the ITA and NCAA Thursday as she was named the National Assistant Coach of the Year.

After being tabbed as the regional Assistant Coach of the Year earlier this month, Krtickova adds national honors to her ledger in 2019 and is the first assistant coach in team history to be bestowed with the award. She was a key proponent of the Eagles success this year as the team posted a 20-4 overall record, reached the national semifinals for the 11th consecutive season and claimed the program's seventh straight University Athletic Association crown in late April.

Krtickova has helped the team to a 102-25 record during her five seasons on the staff including winning the national championship in 2016 and national runner-up performances in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
