Despite the Eagles going 0-3 as a team against three top-10 programs from the NESCAC, senior Christina Watson went 3-0 at No. 3 singles and 2-1 at the No. 1 doubles spot to highlight Emory this weekend. Watson was a straight set winner against her Amherst (6-1, 6-2) and Tufts (6-3, 6-3) competition and added a 6-4. 1-6, 10-8 decision against Wesleyan's Venia Yeung. In doubles, Watson and Ana Perez were 8-5 and 8-3 winners against the Mammoths and Jumbos No. 1 doubles squads with the lone loss of the weekend coming on Saturday as they fell 8-5 to WU's Caitlyn Ferrante/Sasha Gaeth pairing, 8-5.
